How we handle your information, and your guests'

Who this covers

This policy covers two groups of people: couples and hosts who order a page from us, and guests who visit a page and use its RSVP, seat map, or photo-sharing features. If you're a guest, there's a shorter notice written just for you at /guest-privacy.

Ating Tagpuan is operated by WEAVR Information Technology Services, a registered sole proprietorship in Davao del Sur, Philippines. Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, we are the "personal information controller" for the details described here.

What we collect from you (couples and hosts)

• To talk to you: your name, email address, mobile number, and Messenger account.
• To build your page: your names as you want them shown, your event date and venues, your story, entourage and sponsor names, attire guidance, gift notes, timeline, and the photos you upload.
• To take payment: the payment reference and the name on the account you paid from. We don't see or store full card numbers; payments go through GCash or the payment provider we confirm with you.
• To run your account: your login details for the Client Portal, and a record of what you've edited and published.

What we collect from your guests

• RSVP form: name, number of seats, meal or dietary notes if you ask for them, and the message they leave for you. Sometimes their email or mobile number, if you enable reminders.
• Seat map: their chosen seat or table.
• Photo sharing: the photos they upload to your page's gallery, with the time of upload.
• Basic technical data: the kind of device and browser they used, so the page displays properly. We don't use this to build profiles.

You, as the host, are the person your guests are sharing these details with. We hold them on your behalf and show them to you in the Client Portal.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent anyone's details.
• We don't put advertising pixels or third-party ad trackers on wedding pages.
• We don't use your photos or your guests' photos for our own marketing without asking you first. If we'd like to show your page in our portfolio, we'll ask, and you can say no.
• We don't contact your guests for anything other than the reminders you set up.

Where the information lives

Pages and the Client Portal run on cloud hosting and web-platform providers whose servers may be outside the Philippines. Email reminders are sent through an email delivery service. These providers process the information only to run our service for us, under their own security commitments. We choose providers with industry-standard security and keep the list short.

How long we keep it

• Published pages: stay live for 12 months after your event date, then are archived.
• Guest RSVPs, seat maps, and guest photos: available to you in the Portal until your page is archived, then deleted within 60 days of archiving. Export anything you want to keep before then; we'll remind you.
• Your account and order records: kept for as long as we're required to for tax and accounting purposes (currently up to 10 years under Philippine tax rules), then deleted.
• Unpublished Save-the-Date drafts: deleted after 90 days of inactivity.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it in a particular way. Guests have the same rights over their own RSVPs and photos. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 15 working days. If you're not satisfied with how we handled it, you can raise a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

Children

Our pages are ordered by adults. Debut and birthday pages for minors are ordered and managed by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the details shared on the page.

Cookies

atingtagpuan.com uses cookies for basic site function and, on this marketing site only, for understanding which of our pages people visit. Published wedding pages use only the cookies needed to keep an RSVP session working. We don't use cookies to follow you around other websites.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we'll note the new date at the top and email active clients. Older orders are covered by the version that was current when they were placed.
